Spring, you have been a long time coming! I, for one, cannot wait to lose those extra winter layers and welcome warmer days, and I am sure you all feel the same.
Spring and Easter time is the most perfect excuse for me to use pretty pastels, flowers and all the bows and ribbons that I can find when styling new party themes, such as the Craft Party I am working on. I am also very excited about the Easter Egg Hunts the team and I are planning this month. We are all being extra good, too, in the hope that our chocolate giving friend, Mr. Easter Bunny, will drop into the Foxes Events offices again this year!
We recently styled and hosted a super cute 1st birthday party based on the Beatrix Potter classic, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, which I think would work perfectly for this year’s Easter Party theme!
We worked with a soft colour palette of pastels and stripes and incorporated this theme throughout all of the party details. We even tried out a clever flower alternative and decorated the room with vases – filled with bright orange carrots and pretty daisies to accessorise! It was a real talking point!
The dessert table was a firm favorite amongst the little guests and, of course, the mummies and daddies at the party. Guests enjoyed a selection of treats such as beautifully detailed Peter Rabbit biscuits, white chocolate covered Oreos, customised mini chocolate bars and the most amazing vanilla sponge Peter Rabbit birthday cake!
After a sip of milk, Peter and his friends were invited into Mr McGregor’s Vegetable Garden to enjoy an afternoon of story reading, laughter and sing-along fun!
Happy little guests left for home hopping with delight, taking with them custom made party favours as a special ‘Thank you’ for making Peter’s 1st Birthday so special.
Here’s to Spring and all its warmth and colour!
