A few months back, and the creatives amongst us will relate to this, I got that itch; that creative itch to design another spectacular photo shoot with my team. I wanted to put together some simple styling elements that would show off some of our additional bespoke options we can create for your party, something you can choose alongside your entertainment.

For this shoot I wanted to put together the most requested popular extras from our clients but incorporate and compliment the Foxes Events brand at the same time, using our signature colours, tones and style. To start the process, I whipped out the sketch book and began drawing out what elements I wanted to showcase in the shoot and set out how we could make the overall design concept fit with the Foxes Events ‘brand’.

I find sketching out the design first really helps me visualise, and this is always one of the first things I do when putting together any styling elements that the team and I create. Once I was happy with the overall concept I brought a super talented team on board to bring my vision to life.

Treat table! I knew who I was going to call and that was my gal pal Robin from Cakes by Robin – Robin totally ‘gets’ me and my (sometimes) crazy ideas and requests.  As you might have seen on the Foxes Events website, I have a range of custom hand-drawn (super cute!) illustrations, and this was something I definitely wanted to incorporate within the treats.

I knew Robin’s attention to detail would totally nail it – and I wasn’t wrong!

Here we have a range of popular party treats such as baked shortbread biscuits, macarons, chocolate covered Oreos, mini cupcakes and a delicious sponge cake topped with our very own fox models!

Each treat incorporated an element from our brand and I was totally in love with every single detail! Almost to good to eat right…‘almost’!

I wanted to style the treats in a really simple way and felt a standard table display just didn’t cut it. I wanted something a little different and took inspiration from our Street Art themed party and used crates! We hand painted each crate carefully, thinking about the positioning of each layer and what treats would go where.

I then wanted something really dreamy to frame the table and took inspiration from the lovely Brittany over at The House That Lars Built and designed our own version of the much loved ‘Lars Balloon Arch’. I have seen quite a few variations of this style of arch but really wanted to make it our own. I wanted to only incorporate our brand colours in the balloons and used some simple eucalyptus leaves to make the arch subtly ‘pop’. I came across the gorgeous Minimal Affair on Instagram, got chatting to Amalie and knew instantly she would be able to create the vision I had in mind! Amalie totally got it straight away and created exactly what I wanted!

To compliment this gorgeous arch I wanted a matching balloon table runner! Again, this was not a problem for the Minimal Affair team and they totally created what I wanted, the runner sat against this gorgeous bare zinc table top provided by Classic Crockery and looked simply stunning and deservedly became the focal feature on the table.

We completed the tea table set up with some custom place settings, using the Foxes brand designs.

Our organic food boxes filled with yummy party food can also be customised; here we show how this can be done!

No party is complete without party favours! We love choosing unique quality items and filling them in our cotton drawstring bags. The outer tag we designed compliments the rest of the party styling and theme and we think they look super cute at any party!

All images captured beautifully (as always) by my lovely friend Emma Tunbridge. A massive thank you to all contributors who turned this dream shoot into reality!
